It all started when I was just 13 years old, I wanted to make a website for a game I played at the time. I soon learned I enjoyed making and running the website more than I did the game and it has all been a natural progression from there.
My name is Aaron Pitts, I was born and raised in Suffolk but I am now based in Bristol after starting University here in 2008. I am currently studying for my degree in Web Design at the University of the West of England, although I have had several years experience of web design and development before I even applied to University and I now have nearly seven years experience in total under my belt.
I am very enthusiastic about what I do, from a young age I always wanted to make and build things, and as it turns out, I’ve become pretty good at making websites. This is what I love to do and I have a real passion for both designing the visuals in Photoshop, to bringing the website to life and digging deep in the back-end code to form the engine room of a website. I constantly strive to improve and to me I can’t seem to learn enough on the subject! To date nearly everything I know has been self taught as when I am dedicated to something I strive for 100% always, strengths I have developed from my sporting background.
I use some of the best kit in the industry and I work on a 17″ Core i7 MacBook Pro (with 8GB of RAM!) hooked up with a 22″ external monitor providing me with a very efficient working environment.
This has all probably become more of an obsession now, but a healthy one at that. I listen to a number of weekly podcasts on the subject and I read several daily web design and development blogs, so I am constantly kept up to date with all the latest industry news, technologies and trends because I love what I do.
So now you know a bit more about me, feel free to say hi and please do get in touch to see what I can do for you.
